Privacy policy.

At Professional Hearing Solutions we’re entrusted with sensitive health information for every patient we look after. This page sets out, in plain language, the information we collect, why we collect it, how we keep it safe, and the choices you have.

What we collect

To fulfil your order and deliver appropriate audiology care, we collect: your name, phone number, email address (if provided), shipping address, the audiogram report you upload at checkout, your payment screenshot, and the order history associated with your account or phone number. We may also collect anonymised information about how the shop is used (page views, device type) for service improvement.

How we use it

We use your contact information to confirm orders, arrange shipping, and provide aftercare. We use your audiogram to programme the hearing aid you have purchased to your specific hearing profile. We use your payment screenshot solely to reconcile your transfer with the order placed and to comply with our internal record-keeping. We will never share your medical or financial information with parties outside the businesses we work with to fulfil your order (couriers, the relevant hearing-aid manufacturer’s service network where applicable).

Storage and security

Personal data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure (Supabase hosted on Amazon Web Services). All connections between your device, our shop, and our database are encrypted in transit. Audiogram and payment files are kept in private storage buckets accessible only to authorised PHS staff. Access to the admin portal is limited to verified staff accounts with role-based permissions; each access is logged.

Retention

We retain order, customer, and audiogram records for as long as they are required to provide aftercare, to honour manufacturer warranty obligations, and to comply with Pakistani tax and recordkeeping law. Payment screenshots are retained alongside the order record for the same period. After this period elapses, we may anonymise or remove records on a periodic basis.

Marketing

From time to time we may contact existing customers on WhatsApp or by phone with information about new products, fittings, or relevant offers from the brands we represent. If you’d prefer not to receive these messages, let us know and we’ll remove your number from those lists. We do not sell, rent, or otherwise pass your contact details to third parties for their own marketing.

Cookies & analytics

Our shop uses functional cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember your cart contents. We may use lightweight analytics to understand which pages are most useful so we can improve them. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the shop.

Your choices

You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, correct any inaccuracies, or request deletion of personal data where this is permitted under applicable law and is not required to satisfy ongoing service, warranty, or legal obligations. Please contact us using the details below.
