The Signia Silk 1X is a discreet Completely-in-Canal (CIC) hearing aid that ships with soft, pre-fabricated silicone Click Sleeves in vented and closed configurations — so it fits comfortably without the wait for a custom ear-impression and shell. Most patients can walk in, get fitted, and leave wearing their hearing aid the same day.
The Silk 1X is one of Signia's most discreet hearing aids. It sits deep inside your ear canal where it's almost invisible from the outside, making it a popular choice for adults who care most about discretion. Click Sleeves are replaceable in seconds — no clinic visit needed if you lose one or want a different fit.
Built on Signia's Xperience (X) platform, the Silk 1X runs on a 16-channel signal-processing platform with 8 gain handles and supports up to 4 personalized hearing programs that your audiologist fine-tunes for your daily life. Dynamic Soundscape Processing automatically adapts the hearing aid's behavior to your environment. Adaptive feedback cancellation eliminates whistling, speech and noise management keeps voices clear in noisy environments, and frequency compression brings high-pitched sounds (birds, doorbells, women's and children's voices) into your hearing range.
The Silk 1X is the entry tier of the Silk X family. It shares the same Click-fit design and modern X platform as the higher tiers (5X / 7X), with a simpler sound-processing feature set, which makes it the most affordable way to get into Signia's discreet CIC line. Note that the Silk X family does not support direct iPhone streaming, tinnitus features, or eWindScreen at this tier — patients who need those should consider the higher Silk X tiers or look at the Pure 312 X RIC family.
e2e wireless 3.0 pairs the left and right hearing aids so they work as one system. The size 10 zinc-air battery delivers approximately 70 hours of use, with an on/off battery door for convenience. The Signia App (iOS and Android) is included for TeleCare with Remote Services, which lets your audiologist make adjustments without an in-person clinic visit.
